In 2007, PT Geoservices re-established its Mineral Testing Laboratory facility at Cikarang (GeoAssay Laboratory) with a specific goal to provide up to date methods of analysis for Mineral and Mining Industries. The laboratory maintains certification to ISO17025, ISO9001 and ISO 45001.
The GeoAssay laboratory comprises four laboratory facilities (Mineral, Metallurgical, Geotechnical and Mineralogy) with shared analytical capability. The major focus for the Minerals Division covers the following service provisions:
- Mine site laboratory – installation and management
- Exploration –Geochemistry testing and analysis
- Mineral Processing and extractive metallurgy
- Geotechnical Testing
- Advanced Mineralogy using XRD and SEM technology for mining and oil and gas industries
- XRD Analysis for cement production industries
- Metal testing using Ark Spark Optical Emission Spectroscopy for copper cathode analysis and other metal products.
- Environmental - Acid rock drainage / TCLP / LD50
- Dore Superintending at Gold Refinery
- Letter of Survey for mine production shipments
